Well, it's that time of year again. As 2014 draws to a close, it has come the time to say what we liked, what we hated, and belittle everyone with a different opinion.

Have at it boys.

Broken Bells- After the Disco

Lindsey Sterling- Shatter Me

The Horrors- Luminous

Mastodon- Once More 'Round the Sun

Slaves- Through Art We Are All Equals

Every Time I Die- From Parts Unknown

Arkells- High Noon

Lecrae- Anomaly

Lights- Little Machines

We Were Promised Jetpacks- Unravelling

Wolves At the Gate- VxV

Owl John- Owl John

Andy Mineo- Neverland EP

Crowder- Neon Steeple

Hi Mav.

Yeah, I was actually thinking about this a few days ago, and while I was skimming through this list (http://en.wikipedia...._of_2014_albums - Note that it is incomplete, used it mostly to jog my memory), I realized that there is a lot of stuff this year that I've been meaning to listen to but haven't, and I'm not really at liberty to make a top list because it would be largely subject to change. I can, however, list some damn good albums:

nikki nack,  byTune-Yards

Benji, by Sun Kil Moon

Black Messiah, by D'Angelo

St. Vincent, by St. Vincent

Pinata, by Freddie Gibbs & Madlib (for those of you who listen to rap, def check this out, it probably slipped under your radar

Shriek, by Wye Oak

I haven't listened to Mac Demarco's Salad Days yet, but i suspect it will be largely similar to his previous effort 2, which is great,  so yeah. Everyone should check him out.

This Is All Yours, Alt-J

Cilvia Demo, by Isaiah Rashad

My Favorite Faded Fantasy, Damien Rice

And the War Came, by Shakey Graves

Sylvan Esso, by Sylvan Esso

xoa, Anais Mitchell

Alright, I'm tired of mind games. Which one of you two is the mom and which one's the dad? The dad would be the one that shoved the sperm into the other guys ass and pulled it out of the uterus.- BBB

This Is All Yours was rly good, but not as good as An Awesome Wave so it was hard to fully appreciate it.

Gambino's Kauai EP is pretty good. I'd also give his Because The Internet album some credit, even though it technically released in December 2013.

2014 wasn't really a great year for music IMO TBH

I kinda just put This is All Yours up there because of An Awesome Wave. I've only listened to it once. And Kauai is alright, Because the Internet is definitely superior.

And I dunno about that. I mean, take the couple of albums that I listed that I'd definitely put on a top list: nikki nack, Benji, Pinata, Cilvia Demo, And the War Came, and maybe Black Messiah. All stupidly exceptional stuff imo.
