I'm keeping my tradition going with another yearly favourite albums thread. You all know the drill by now.

Andy Mineo- Uncomfortable

Stick to Your Guns- Disobedient

Kendrick Lamar- To Pimp a Butterfly

Awolnation- Run

Death Cab for Cutie- Kintsugi

Sufjan Stevens- Carrie and Lowell

Fireflight- Innova

Haste the Day- Coward (Album of the Year)

The Story so Far- The Story so Far

Four Year Strong- Four Year Strong (Apparently 2015 was the year of self-titled punk albums)

August Burns Red- Found in Far Away Places (Probably my least favorite ABR album yet, but still one of my favs from this year. Looks like signing to Fearless is going to affect them for the worst though.)

Senses Fail- Pull the Thorns from Your Heart

Between the Buried and Me- Coma Ecliptic

Owl City- Mobile Orchestra

Phinehas- Till the End

The Dear Hunter- Act IV

Baroness- Purple

Rend Collective- As Family We Go

Overall, better year than last in terms of quantity, but quality is lacking. Even my favourite from this year are nowhere near my all time favorites (with the exception of Coward).

I gotta be honest, I didn't listen to a lot of stuff that came out last year, but I thought the coldplay album (the songs i've heard from it, at least) was pretty good.

If game soundtracks count, undertale's OST is definitely up there in my favorites.

Hmm, there was a lot of good stuff released in 2015, but not much that I'd consider excellent compared to previous years.

Excellent stuff:
Steven Wilson - Hand. Cannot. Erase. (everything this man creates is gold, though)
BTBAM - Coma Ecliptic (love it. They could have just gone and made Colors 3, but they took a risk and and they're good enough musicians to pull it off)
Riverside - Love, Fear and the Time Machine (although I wish they'd return to their heavier roots, this is very very good)
Caligula's Horse - Bloom (these Australian prog bands are getting better and better)

Leprous - The Congregation (by far their most vocal-driven album. good thing the vocals are insanely on point)
Earthside - A Dream in Static (these guys are insanely talented)
Intronaut - The Direction of Last Things
Rivers of Nihil - Monarchy (techdeath of the year, "Sand Baptism" is immense)

Protest The Hero - Pacific Myth (although only half of the album has been released so far, these three songs have all been excellent)

Some of the other good stuff:
Peripherthree Juggernaut (I listen to most of Omega, and a few songs off Alpha quite often. Much more than I listen to the majority of their older songs. "Stranger Things" is God-tier and has surpassed Ragnarok as my favourite song of theirs)
Iron Maiden - The Book of Souls (Oh boy this is fun)

Departure Songs - We Lost The Sea
The Dear Hunter - Act IV
Good Tiger - A Head Full of Moonlight (those vocals)
Tesseract - Polaris (not their best overall, but Cages/Hexes/Survival are definitely up there)
Symphony X - Underworld (Iconoclast Part 2 - and I'm perfectly okay with that)
Stories - Youth to Become (best album Underoath have released since they disbanded. wait...)

Alright, I'm tired of mind games. Which one of you two is the mom and which one's the dad? The dad would be the one that shoved the sperm into the other guys ass and pulled it out of the uterus.- BBB
