So, again, discuss all levels of American Football here.

NFL topics:
Best stadium you've been to? Favorite team? Who ya got winning it all this year?

NCAA topics:
USC: Era over, or just biding time? SEC: Still the best conference despite realignments? Favorite to take the Heisman Memorial Trophy?

FedEx Field, Washington Redskins, and the same.

Unfortunately, the Trojans are like the Yankees -- their era is never officially over. As much as I would like them to crash and burn and forever be out of contention, rather than just a measly two years, it's not gonna happen. As for best conference? I don't think there is one this year, and if there is we'll have to wait for the season to play out before putting a finger on it. I got no guesses to the Heisman winner.

Best stadium I've been to is the only one I've been inside, Raymond James Stadium. I'm undefeated there. That said, it's quite obvious the Bucs are my favorite team. As for winning it all... if Favre comes back, it's the Vikings' to lose.

USC, I think the next three years are make or break for their dominance. Utah's coming to the Pac-10, and with the recruits who are jumping ship already, Lane Kiffin's gonna need to be one hell of a coach for the program to not take on water, if not capsize entirely.

I still say SEC is best conference, because not only do we have the two best teams (and two of the best coaches) in the nation in UF and Alabama, but even with both of them running the table until they play each other, the rest of the SEC is still highly competitive.

As for a favorite... the safe bet is Mark Ingram, since he's only a junior, he's the reigning champ, and there isn't a real contender except for Adam Luck from Stanford to challenge him.

By Canada, you mean Europe. And to an extent, 'the motherland'

So Favre retired... and then didn't actually retire. Welcome to summer in the NFL.

Also, any thoughts on Albert Haynesworth?

As long as Haynesworth he continues to shut the hell up and play nose tackle, I'll be fine with him .That is, if Shanny let's him play. I'm glad we finally got a coach who'll actually put his foot down and punish a player for being a diva over an athlete.

As far as Favre goes, I'm about as concerned with the validity of his retirement claims as I am with the 2012 doomsday. It's all just drama for attention.

That was incredibly obscure. I think only a select few children in my state could remember that. Congratulations on being "that guy"

In the NFL...

Broncos DE Elvis Dumeril is expected to miss four months with a torn pectoral muscle. How does the loss of last year's sack king affect the Broncos' defense AND their chances to make it to the playoffs/Super Bowl?

Continuing the injury report, Albert Haynesworth's knee is fine after an MRI exam. So now that we know he's not hurt, the question is... just how lazy is he?

Broncos have too much shit floating around Denver to even think of a shot at the playoffs. Dumeril is just one more reason why.

Haynesworth finally practiced so I guess that means he passed Shanny's conditioning test. Hopefully, he stays in shape and keeps his head in the game.

Breaking news: Favre will play his 20th season with Minnesota this year.

He will also play his last season in NFL this year.

But knowing Favre... it just means there's a very good chance he's done. Until the 2011-2012 season ends and Favre hasn't played a game, I don't completely buy it.

So both the college and NFL regular seasons are underway...

Boise State: Legit contenders after topping V-Tech?

Mark Ingram has missed two games. How does this impact his repeat chances?

Boise might be legit. I really don't think one game is enough to determine whether or not they'll go far this year.

With that said, HELL YES, GO REDSKINS. THIS TOTALLY MEANS WE ARE SUPER BOWL BOUND.

I know it's too late, but I wanted the Bengals to have a good run like last year, but I don't think that they will be doing that anytime soon if Carson leaves them. If not them, then I want the Colts to go on again.
