Comments/Effects |

| Armads | Hector use only, DEF + 5, effective against dragons This legendary axe of thunder is Hector's legendary weapon. It has pretty much just the same stats as the devil axe with bonus power against dragons instead of extra experience and a notorious habit of proving fatal to the user. It's the best possible weapon against the dragon, though basilikos outshines it elsewhere. |
| Basilikos | Ultimate axe The ultimate, S-rank axe. It's power and accuracy are both unmatched among axes. It's even better than Armads on every occasion except fighting the dragon. |
| Brave Axe | Grants two consecutive attacks Ah, this is another really nice axe. It has decent stats but more importantly it always gives you a consecutive double attack. Basically, you do double whatever damage it says you're going to do with it. Too bad it only has 30 uses - that's 15, by the way, since it uses two uses per attack. |
| Devil Axe | Eight times weapon experience, may damage user The axe that gives the most experience of them all, with a whopping 8 times the usual. It's dreadfully heavy and pretty powerful, and has the nasty side-effect of hitting the user instead if you use it on someone with bad luck. It's pretty much harmless after about 15 luck, though. Using this is your prerogative. |
| Dragon Axe | Effective against dragons This halberd clone gives its effect against dragons and has 40 uses. Use it whenever it can kill something; 40 uses is a lot to burn through and it's nice to save uses on your stronger gear. |
| Emblem Axe | An iron axe with a special name and icon that you only get from linking up with Mario Kart: Double Dash. | |||||||||
| Halberd | Effective against cavalry A weakened steel axe that triples your attack power against cavalry. By all means use it - you get one free and it doesn't sell for enough to make resale a better idea than use. |
| Hammer | Effective against armored units, double weapon experience A halberd (with slightly less accuracy) that gives its bonus against armored units instead. I personally go through a lot of these in the early Eliwood or Hector chapters since they make excellent tin can openers and you're still using a lot of weak iron swords and the like. |
| Handaxe | Your basic weapon for attacking with range. The handaxe leaves a bit to be desired with its stats, but it's worth equipping it to get another strike at your enemy most of the time. | |||||||||
| Iron Axe | The basic axe that you'll be using for quite a while on all your axe users. Since the steel axe isn't too accurate, you might want to look into keeping using these even after you can upgrade just for the sake of hitting more often. | |||||||||
| Killer Axe | This beautiful axe has about the power of a steel axe, but more accuracy, and a 30 percent critical bonus, just like other killer weapons. On berserkers it can easily kill most anything in one or two swings with criticals. | |||||||||
| Poison Axe | Poisons whenever it hits An enemy only weapon with horrible stats that give you the poison side effect whenever it hits you, even if it just hits for 0 damage. The poison effect is unpleasant in the heat of battle, so try to avoid these. |
| Silver Axe | A very all-around powerful axe with decent accuracy and weight. You get these really early, but it's not worth it to use them until later on because of their low usage. | |||||||||
| Steel Axe | An iron axe with more might, less accuracy, and more weight that gives double weapon experience and is E rank for some reason, which separates it from all the other steel weapons. | |||||||||
| Swordreaver | Reverses weapon triangle, double weapon experience This axe is a slightly better steel axe that reverses and doubles the weapons triangle, as well as giving 5 percent critical and double weapon experience. I don't really use these, though, since they cost a lot and only have 15 uses. |
| Swordslayer | Reverses weapon triangle, effective against swordsmen Imagine a swordreaver without the weapon experience, with 5 more uses, and with a bonus of triple damage against myrmidons, swordmasters, mercenaries, and heroes. You've just imagined this. |
| Tomahawk | A beefed up version of the hand axe that bosses tend to use toward the end of the game, and you get one of. It's pretty nice, and definitely worth use in the final chapter. | |||||||||
| Wolf Beil | Hector use only, effective against cavalry and armored units This is Hector's first and most basic personal weapon. It gives a tiny critical boost and triples attack power against both armored units and cavalry. It's sort of like a halberd and hammer combined in one. |
