Comments/Effects |

| Axereaver | Reverses and doubles the weapon triangle, double weapon experience This weapon is pretty nice. It has decent stats, a 5% critical boost, gives double weapon experience, and reverses and doubles the effects of the weapons triangle, making it essential for Generals in link arena play. It's a real shame that its uses are limited to 15. |

| Brave Lance | Makes two consecutive attacks. At first glance the brave lance doesn’t look so great. It has stats that make it slightly weaker than the steel lance. However, it allows you to make two consecutive attacks, transforming it into one of the game’s best weapons. Be conservative with it though; it only has 15 de facto uses. |
|||||||||
| Emblem Lance | It’s just an iron lance with 60 uses you get by linking with Mario Kart: Double Dash. Nothing special. | |||||||||
| Heavy Spear | Effective against armored units This is your lance users’ main attack against knights and generals for a good while. You get a couple for free, so you might as well make good use of them, though I wouldn’t recommend buying extras. It deals triple normal damage against armored units, but isn’t great against most anyone else. |
|||||||||
| Horseslayer | Effective against cavalry The horseslayer is nearly identical to the heavy spear except for that its bonus deals triple damage to cavalry instead. I find this much less useful, since cavalry don’t have overwhelming defense but you might as well use the one you get for free against them. |
|||||||||
| Iron lance | This is the basic lance that you will have everyone use until you upgrade them to steel lances, if you so choose. It’s light, has many uses, and has a good amount of power for beginning enemies. | |||||||||
| Javelin | This is the ranged attack your lance users will use throughout the game, excluding the sporadic short spear or splurging with a spear in the final chapter. It is weak, inaccurate, and heavy, but it works with a bit of skill. | |||||||||
| Killer Lance | This light lance is a bit less powerful than the steel lance, but has the ability to boost critical by 30%. I suggest you use it on your units most likely already to critical so that they can critical nearly every turn. | |||||||||
| Poison Lance | Poisons whenever it hits Unfortunately, (or fortunately, if you look at its stats) this lance is for enemy use only. Even though it is horrible, though, you should always try to avoid it because it will always poison you if it hits, even if it just does zero damage. Poisoning is very annoying, and often causes more damage than the enemy would have with a better weapon. |
|||||||||
| Rex Hasta | This is the S rank lance, and well-worth its title. It is by far the best lance of them all in terms of stats, except maybe a brave lance wielded by a critical maniac or Vaida’s spear on a high-stat Oswin. Too bad it’s only in the final chapter. | |||||||||
| Short Spear | This is a more powerful, heavier, and less accurate javelin. Though normally might outweighs other stats, I wouldn’t say so in this case. You might as well use it on high-defense enemies but stick to javelins for the most part. | |||||||||
| Silver Lance | This lance is more powerful than the steel lance, AND less heavy and more accurate. It’s a great weapon that probably won’t get much use till the last few chapters due to its low usage. | |||||||||
| Slim Lance | The lightest, most accurate, and weakest lance. It’s worthless on all but the Pegasus knights at low level. | |||||||||
| Spear | It’s basically a more accurate and more powerful javelin. It’d be a godsend, but you only get one for yourself and it only has 15 uses. However, it’s very nice in the final chapter. | |||||||||
| Vaidas Spear | HP + 17, STR + 5, SKL + 4, SPD + 9, DEF + 4, RES + 14 Also known as the uber spear, this Spear is only obtainable by the mine glitch and gives several generous stat bonuses. It isn’t really necessary though, and was probably only added to discourage players from attacking Vaida. |
|||||||||
| Steel Lance | Double Weapon Experience This weapon has decent power, and less accuracy and more weight than the iron lance. I think it’s better and always upgrade to it as soon as I can buy steel weapons, but it’s really your choice there. It’s the basic staple lance after the iron lance. |
