Battle Axe
Strength is all it has period so if you value strength above all else or you somehow got an axe user with great speed and skill with low strength this is the axe for you.
Brave Axe
Ok stat wise it isnt great but it guarantees at least two hit and can sometimes hit four times if your character is fast enough. I recommend saving this for chapter twenty and beyond.
Devil Axe
Once Ross becomes a Berserker or hero or whatever he will have the luck to use this thing without much risk. Whoops I forgot to tell you about its special effect it will sometimes hurt you instead of your opponent this is determined by luck the higher your luck is the lower the chance of this happening. Also it gives eight times weapon experience which is always nice.
Dragon Axe
Great weapon for taking out Wyvern Units but it is kind of hard to get unless you use the exact same strategy on Chapter 15 that I do.
Garm
Ok this weapon is awesome I dont know any promoted axe users who will get slowed down by it gives plus three to speed and it has the highest might of any weapon in the game except the dragon stone which is only usable by one character I recommend using this axe but use it conservatively until the final chapter.
Halberd
Only use I can think of for this thing is taking out great Knights and The paladin Boss I think theres only one paladin boss since enemy cavaliers and paladins usually have low defense.
Hammer
Only good for generals in my opinion since enemy knights only have good defense not great and for taking out Gks the Halberd is better since it has more Accuracy.
Hand Axe
keep one in your inventory there pretty handy. But because of there low hit I recommend only using them when necessary.
Hatchet
Ok this is basically a Hand Axe with better weight and accuracy but less power. I personally prefer this one since axe users dont have great skill so the high hit makes up for that its low weight is made up for by axe users high strength and the low weight makes it a great weapon for Ross before he promote into a Fighter or Pirate.
Iron Axe
A good dependable weapon it has high hit for an Axe but compared to other axes it is kind of on the weaker side. Good amount of uses I recommend only using this Axe until promotion or until you get 16 skill whichever comes first.
Killer Axe
Great weapon for Ross especially if you make him a berserker. It has kind of low hit but coupled with Ross good skill and the enemies Low evade its not that bad.
Silver Axe
A great weapon for any Axe user high strength but low weight for its type is always nice its uses are kind of low but thats why you save them for the last chapter.
Steel Axe
A strong but heavy weapon I recommend not using this unless your unit is promoted.
Swordreaver
Reverses weapon triangle with double bonuses.
Swordslayer
Ok this thing also reverses the weapon triangle with double bonuses but I prefer this to the swordreaver for three reasons which are. One, they have equal stats in all areas except accuracy were this one is the better. Two, More uses which is always good. Three, its might is tripled against Myrmidons, mercenaries, swordmasters, and heroes.
Tomahawk
A real good weapon I recommend at least giving one axe user one.
