Guide
Okay, now this chapter introduces something new. Ballistae. Basically, they're gigantic bows that either Archers or Snipers can ride and fire long distance arrows. However, they're weak and miss often. And they only have five shots. So, It's not really worth it in my opinion. But if you want your archers to ride one, have fun.

Anyway, move your units forward. Don't attack anyone, wait for them to bring the attack to you. A couple of soldiers are your only opponents for now, so kill them and move on. Some enemies will come up from behind, but ignore them. But if you want, you can leave a unit behind to deal with them. One of the Mages up ahead have an Energy Ring. Steal it with Colm.

Save some EXP for your weaker characters while you're fighting the axemen up ahead, but be careful of them - they are weak, after all. Other than that, keep moving up. The enemies will continue to attack you and (hopefully) be massacred. Move up and around. Not much strategy is required here. But you should send up a couple of units to deal with the fighter and archer. The two soldiers by the bridge will get wiped out by everyone.

Finally, go up by the two archers. Move in their range, but out of the boss's two square attack range. You can easily dispatch the archers if you send up a large force. Now you simply need to defeat the boss.

Strategy
Magic is probably your best bet here. Just send in a couple of magicians while his Steel Sword is equipped and you can take him out in a day. You'll automatically get the Knight Crest from him when he's defeated.
